sleepmakeswaves have put out a call to fans to help raise funds for their second album.
The Sydney post-rock outfit are seeking $25,000 to cover the remaining costs of producing the record, which follows 2011’s ARIA-nominated ‘…and so we destroyed everything.’
The band are offering pre-orders for the album, limited edition merch & vinyl, exclusive shows, a listening party, jam sessions with the band, a custom guitar and framed artwork, amongst many other options in return for contributions.
Bassist Alex Wilson said “lots of bands are on this crowd-funding thing and we thought long as hard about doing it too…We’re coming to you because we want to make the most epic and ear-shattering sleepmakeswaves record yet.”

sleepmakeswaves have just wrapped up the massive Polymorphism tour with Karnivool & Dead Letter Circus, which took in sold out theatre shows across Australia in January.
