Guitar prog maestro PLINI had a breakout year in 2015 on the live front, debuting on stage with a band including drummer Troy Wright, bassist Simon Grove (The Helix Nebula) and a variety of guests in the UK, Japan and Europe, such as Mike Malyan (ex-Monuments). His group has scored tours with TesseracT & NeObliviscaris, as well as selling out a headline Australian club run in August – pretty impressive stuff.
This February he will be playing shows in Sydney and Melbourne with special guests, instrumental guitar nerds Heavy Metal Ninjas. If you’re a fan of catchy yet technical progressive instrumentals, make sure you check it out.
