Adelaide Festival has really got its prog on this year, with the announcement of some incredible acts for its musical lineup.
Firstly, Scottish post-rock icons MOGWAI will be returning, supported by orchestral art rockers THE RED PAINTINGS.
UK experimental rock legends 65DAYSOFSTATIC will perform with support from Perth dark instrumental quartet TANGLED THOUGHTS OF LEAVING
Japanese avante-garde/classical/hardcore/opera/crazy 9-piece VAMPILLIA (pictured) will return for the first time in 5 years, with support from Melbourne’s FOURTEEN NIGHTS AT SEA & Trash McSweeney and Alix Kol (also of The Red Paintings).
Pretty exciting to see this festival supporting acts like this, let’s get behind them to ensure it happens again.
Stay tuned for side shows announcements as they come.
