Toehider release ‘Whoa!’ single

Melbourne’s TOEHIDER have announced their new single ‘Whoa!’

Taken from the forthcoming album ‘What Kind Of Creature Am I?’ the track was premiered last week on Triple J with Richard Kingsmill and sports the trademark Queen-esque tongue-in-cheek pop-rock vocals of Mike Mills.

The limited edition CD single also comes with a karaoke version to help fans to learn the epic chorus ahead of shows.

Toehider kicked off their co-headlining tour with Wollongong’s TROLDHAUGEN last week to a packed Valve Bar in Sydney last week and will continue to head around the country throughout March.

The larger-than-life prog rock stylings of Toehider’s Mike Mills have gone from strength from strength over the past 12 months, supporting The Protomen (USA), Devin Townsend (CAN), sleepmakeswaves & Twelve Foot Ninja, as well as a stunning rendition of Kate Bush favourite ‘Wuthering Heights’ which has topped 300,000 views in a matter of days (watch here). Along with his vocal contribution to Dutch supergroup Ayreon’s critically-acclaimed ‘The Theory of Everything’ it’s been a busy period for the Melbourne artist.

Toehider recently capped off a successful crowdfunding campaign, reaching their target of $4000 in less than 12 hours and going on to raise nearly 350% of their goal.
